The Watery Grave
Over many years many shipwrecks happen, but there's only one reason why I call this blog Superior water grave. This is because many shipwrecks happened in Lake Superior and the book Lake Superior's Shipwreck Coast has lots of these shipwrecks. "Maritime Accidents from Whitefish Bay to Grand Marais, Michigan." As it says on the cover of this book. It's very interesting and I suggest you read it. Enjoy the Blog!
The Worst Sipwreck I've Read So Far
This was a wreck of a small fleet of boats, the C.F Curtis, the Annie M. Peterson, and the Selden E. Marvin. They ran ashore in a strong gale. The storm was so fierce it completely ripped up the boats and the life savers weren't able to hear the whistle blasts. In the morning the life savers found frozen bodies on the shoreline. The two men who got the farthest tried to go up a sand dune but half way up one fell back down and died and the other one got the top then died of exhaustion.
